High! 16,010ft. is Now Higher than a Kite!!!

In 2014, the Guinness Book of World Record measured that the highest a kite has ever flown was at an altitude of 16,009 feet. This fact inspired us at Heart Sticker to go even higher—one foot higher— and launch “16,010 ft, one foot higher than a kite.”

How did we get this high?

Chris Bucci, Heart Sticker owner, and creative director was recently asked by a roommate, “How high do kites fly?  Because I feel higher than a kite right now.”  Without a definitive answer (or any answer), Chris turned to Siri and asked, “Hey Siri, what is the highest a kite has ever flown?”  Much to their surprise, “she” responded back with a reference to the Guinness Book record of the highest kite being flown off the Western Edge of Australia at 4,879m or 16,009 ft.

All we did was add one more foot and voila, 16,010 higher-than-a-kite was born.

While test marketing the design, someone commented that 16,010 is the new 420. What’s 420?  The most agreed definition now is 420—the time to get high!”  As you walk the Lot at a Phish or Grateful Dead show, you always could hear the rallying cry at 420.  Here are a couple of common links for your researching pleasure.
