Heart in Idaho is designed with a ruby red garnet gem-cut heart. Idaho is known as the gem state and the ruby garnet is its gemstone

• Idaho was originally called Colorado Territory till 1863.  Then it was called Idaho Territory and finally Idaho State in 1890.
• Hells Canyon is 7,993 feet deep.  Grand Canyon is only 6,000+/- feet deep
